Introduction

The E*TRADE Equity Edge Online® (EEO) Developer Platform enables E*TRADE Financial Corporate Services’ clients and developers to create their own Participant Experience Application that leverage E*TRADE's EEO extensive offerings like submitting or retrieving participant, grants, payroll and transactional data. The platform also allows E*TRADE partners and clients who currently use EEO to integrate their system of records for HRIS/Payroll purposes.

Using the E*TRADE EEO Developer Platform, you can:

  • Authenticate external applications with EEO
  • Submit or retrieve Participant, Grants, Payroll (Tax) and perform Transactions.

Architecture

The E*TRADE Developer Platform provides most of its services via a REST API. Most of the API features are accessed via simple HTTP GET and POST requests. Requests that require detailed input, such as Participants, Awards and Reports use an HTTP POST request, with the parameters included as JSON data.
